daggerpoint is unquestionably one of the most talented comic artists on deviantART. His style, though inspired by many legends of comics, is recognizably his own. It is a mature and professional look that reflects a tremendous dedication and a deeply felt love for true artistry. As good as he is, he is always working to be better.
These days Jeremy certainly isn't an unknown on dA. He has had several DTFs for both his deviations and his prints recently. So, I'm not really featuring him for the exposure. I figure that if you love good art you'll find him pretty quickly. I'm featuring him for that same love myself. I just love this guy's art!
I met Jeremy and began working with him as a writer on his series, Girls of Room 408. This was my first shot at writing fiction with an erotic edge and it taught me some things about my own limitations, for which I am grateful. But it also ended up being my first experience working with a penciler that could uncannily translate into his panels exactly what I had described in text. Since then, I have had the pleasure of becoming his friend and watching him grow and improve as an artist in ways that really amaze me. It would be a serious understatement to say that he is gifted. What he is, is one of a kind. I am glad to have met him and really look forward to any chance that I have to work with him in the future.
Recently, Jeremy began taking commissions in his spare time. He's an Art Director, a professional Web Designer, and an Illustrator. Even though that is already a lot, he also loves doing comic pin-ups and designing original characters and he makes time to do that every chance he gets. His prices are very reasonable and I have commissioned him myself to do concept art for me. Every time he has proven again, the level of accuracy he can achieve... incredible!
